Malpractice Insurance

All students enrolled in the Paramedicine Technology and EMS Professions programs are required to have liability coverage. The insurance is provided through Ogeechee Technical College and payment is received through the cost of tuition.

This insurance covers only clinical and field incidents occurring during clinical and field rotations. Neither the college, nor the clinical or field education setting covers the student under Workman’s Compensation for classroom, laboratory, field, or clinical activities.
