Communication with Faculty

• All teaching staff, including lab instructors and preceptors will be addressed appropriately. 

• DO NOT assume that sending a message means you have completed the communication loop.

• If a faculty member does not respond to you within one business day, a phone call is appropriate. Please keep in mind that Ogeechee Technical College is closed every Friday – Sunday. 

• If you are involved in a wreck or major incident during a clinical or field encounter, contact your instructor, clinical coordinator, or program director. Be persistent until someone from the faculty talks with you.

• All communications should be conducted through the Student's OTC email. Faculty will not respond to emails from any other email accounts.
