Academic Program Standards
Students are required to achieve a grade of “C” in all courses assigned to the Paramedicine Technology and EMS Professions curriculum. If a final grade lower than a “C” is earned in any required course, the student will not progress to the next course in the program. If a final grade lower than a “C” is earned in any required course, the student will have to repeat the course.
A grade of “incomplete” may be recorded if a student has not completed didactic or clinical course objectives by the last day of the semester. Issuing an “I” for incompletes will be determined on a case-by-case basis only and is not guaranteed. If an “I” is assigned, a course of action will be developed between the instructor and student with a completion timeline. If the work is not completed according to the timeline, a grade of “F” will be assigned, and the student will be dropped from the program.
Due to the progressive nature of the Paramedicine Technology curriculum, it is recommended that students take all core courses prior to beginning the program.
