Clinical Education Courses

All clinical and field education requirements are in each course specific clinical manuals. Students will find the hours, skills and procedures required to complete their clinical and field education.

EMT
Clinical and field education is completed in one (1) course during the second half of the semester. Students are required to complete at least 48 hours with numerous skills and procedures.

AEMT
Clinical and field education is completed in two (2) separate courses during the AEMT course. Students are required to complete 72 hours in an EMS setting and 24 hours in the Emergency Room using numerous skills and procedures.

Paramedic
Clinical and field education is divided into six (6) separate courses. Progression from one course to the next is based on completion of the course requirements. Students are required to complete at least 504 hours with numerous skills and procedures to include their field internship.
