Welcome
Welcome to Ogeechee Technical College! We are pleased to have you join our Funeral Service Education program and look forward to assisting you to obtain your Associate of Applied Science degree. Having chosen a career in Funeral Service, you must assume the inherent ethical decisions and responsibilities of the profession. Therefore, you must be willing to accept the intrinsic responsibilities associated with the field. This will not be the easiest task that you have ever undertaken, hopefully it will be one of the most rewarding, especially when you become a licensed funeral service professional.
The Funeral Service Education program curriculum is highly structured, involving classroom, laboratory, and clinical work as well as a considerable amount of personal study. Program faculty will schedule all classes, labs, and clinical internships. The faculty is responsible to ensure, through practical exams, your competency of skills prior to your application of these skills during clinical internships.
