Health Insurance Requirement

All students enrolled in the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Program are required to maintain active health insurance coverage throughout the duration of the program. This requirement is in place to meet the standards and contractual agreements of our partnering clinical facilities, many of which mandate that students carry personal health insurance in order to participate in clinical rotations.

Proof of health insurance coverage must be submitted prior to the start of clinical experiences and updated annually or as requested by program faculty. Failure to provide documentation of active health insurance may result in the inability to attend clinical, which can impact academic progression within the nursing program.

Students are responsible for any costs associated with health insurance coverage and are encouraged to explore available student health insurance plans or coverage through personal, employer, or government-sponsored options.
