Course Registration and Scheduling

The nursing program follows a prescribed curriculum map, and students are required to enroll in courses according to this sequence. Enrollment in nursing courses outside the designated curriculum plan is not permitted. The curriculum map can be found in Section VI of this handbook.

Pre-nursing students must be advised by the designated Pre-Nursing Academic Advisor at Ogeechee Technical College. For assistance with course selection and academic planning for prerequisite nursing courses, please contact your Academic Advisor in Student Affairs.

Students officially admitted to the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program will be registered for their courses each semester by the Program Director and nursing faculty. Course registration is based on progression within the curriculum and the student's academic performance from the previous semester.
