Supply Chain Specialist (SCS1)
The Supply Chain Specialist certificate program provides foundational knowledge of activities associated with getting products from their point of origin to the consumer. Topics include basic fundamentals of supply chain management, including general knowledge of current management practices in logistics management, E-Commerce (EC), global supply chains, logistics, and transportation.
Employment Opportunities
Supply chain specialists analyze and coordinate an organization's supply chain - the system that moves a product from supplier to consumer. They manage the entire life cycle of a product, which includes how a product is acquired, distributed, allocated, and delivered. Logistics and supply chain managers oversee activities including purchasing, shipping and transportation, inventory, warehousing, and delivery. Graduates of this program may find entry-level employment as logistics/supply chain coordinators in multiple industries.
Admissions Criteria
- Submit a completed application and application fee;
- Be at least 16 years of age;

Supply Chain Specialist Curriculum
The curriculum for the Supply Chain Specialist program is designed for the semester system. A student may enter the program any term. To graduate, students must earn a minimum of 18 semester credit hours. The program requires a minimum of 270 contact hours and generally takes 2 semesters to complete.
