Double Majors

Students may be afforded the opportunity to be enrolled in more than one major. In order to enroll in more than one major and under the guidance of the student's academic advisor, students wishing to pursue a double major will need to complete the Double Major Request form found in their Etrieve account on their student dashboard. Criteria used to determine if a student is eligible for a double major include, but are not limited to:

Overall GPA at time of request
Course history
Advisor/faculty recommendation
Within one semester of completing current program
A relationship between the current and requested programs
Financial aid eligibility

Any courses that are common to both majors will not have to be repeated. In order to maintain double major status, a student must take at least one course from each program concurrently.
