Air Conditioning Technician Assistant Certificate (AZ31)

Heating and air conditioning systems control the temperature, humidity, and the total air quality in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. By providing a climate controlled environment, refrigeration systems make it possible to store and transport food, medicine, and other perishable items. Heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration mechanics and installers, also called technicians, install, n maintain, and repair such systems. Because heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems often are referred to as HVACR systems, these workers also may be called HVACR technicians

The Air Conditioning Technician Assistant TCC is a series of courses that prepares students to hold positions as refrigeration technician assistants.

Admissions Criteria

  • Submit a completed application and application fee;
  • Be at least 16 years of age;
  • Submit official high school transcript or GED transcript;
  • Submit official college transcripts, if applicable;
