Annual Notice of Directory Information Contents
“Public Directory Information” is information not generally considered harmful or an invasion of privacy if released, and can be disclosed to outside organizations without the student's prior written consent. The Technical College System of Georgia has designated the following information as “Public Directory Information”:
- Full name of student
- Major and field(s) of study
- Enrollment status (full or part-time, etc.)
- Degrees and awards and date received
- Dates of attendance
- Participation in official sports and activities
- Height and weight of athletic team members
- City and county of residence
"Non-Public Directory Information" is not available to the public, but is available to any college official. The Technical College System of Georgia has designated the following information "Non-Public Directory Information":
- Address
- Email address
- Telephone number
Students who wish to prohibit the release of directory information should file a written notification using the Objection to Release Student Directory Information Form available through the College’s Registrar’s Office via the student's eTrieve portal.
