FSRV 2090 Grief Counseling & Sociology

This course is a survey of the basic principles of psychology, sociology and counseling as they relate to Funeral Service. Especially stressed are the psychological concepts in the areas of grief, bereavement, mourning, aftercare and crisis intervention with particular emphasis on the roles of the funeral director. Pre-requisites: FSRV 1010 only with a B or better.
