Course Description:
This course introduces the basics of anatomy and physiology of the human body. Emphasis is placed on the
development of a systemic perspective of anatomical structures and pathological processes. Topics include general
human body plan, basic chemistry, histology, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system,
special senses, the endocrine system, cardiovascular system, lymphatic system, respiratory system, digestive system,
urinary system, and reproductive system.
